How to wear a compression long pant for cycling?

Hi there,
I just bought a compression long pant but I'm not sure what's the right way to wear it. Should I wear another short pant on top of my compression long pant or it's ok to just wear the compression long pant for cycling?

There is no warmth in them at this time of year. Best worn after the ride. They are great then. For the ride get cycling longs
