Posted by Many thanks to the ten ANZ volunteers who escaped from the bank and helped out at Makara Peak today.
They released hundreds of native seedlings around the picnic area in the morning and then in the afternoon shifted rocks from South Karori Stream into the section of Koru that was becoming under cut but recent floods. They also put several wheelbarrow loads of gravel onto the damaged section of track, so it's all smooth again.
