Posted by Or, if you feel like adding to the track network at the back of Karori Park, there will be another work party on Wednesday organised by sifter. The goal I think it to clear and mark out a new Pump Track, the same as TheFix in the US.

:Due to popular demand Don is running a repeat of the Makara Peak Shuttles this Wednesday from 2:30pm. If it rains it is off.

:This event is being put on primarily because it is the school holidays and it is only possible because Don is giving up his time to do the driving (14 times to the top last week) and because Mike @ Mud Cycles in Karori is very generously providing the use of his 4WD van and trailer again.

:Please say thanks to Mike next time you stop into Mud Cycles, he\'s supported the Park since before it was a Park.

:All proceeds (once we have filled Mike\'s tank) will be going to the Makara Peak Supporters to help fund track development.

:It will be the same crazy price of $10.

:First pick up is 2:30pm from the St Albans entrance. After that (from about 2:50pm onwards) meet at 4WD road near the wood pile (i.e. at the end of Ridgeline Extension).

:We had 20 people turn up last week and expect at least that many again this week. The van can take 7-9 people per run so if you have had more than two runs and there are people waiting then Don is going to ask you to do the right thing and give someone else a go who hasn\'t had their two runs yet.

:If it Rains it won\'t go ahead, no mud is allowed in the Muds van and it rips the tracks. If it is off I will try to post something here.

:I\'d also like to take the opportunity on behalf of the Supporters to thank Don and his brother Hugh for all the (extra) work they do on Upper Ridgeline on top of everything else they do in the Park already. You might like to as well if you are riding on Wednesday ;-).
